George Will: Common Core ‘The Thin End of an Enormous Wedge of Federal Power’

Columnist George Will joined Fox News’ Special Report with Bret Baier to discuss Common Core. In the video at left, he outlines its dangers to freedom in thought and daily life.

“This is the thin end of an enormous wedge of federal power that will be wielded for the constant progressive purpose of concentrating power in Washington so that it can impose continental solutions to problems nationwide,” he says.

Will also explains why Common Core ends creativity in education policymaking, how it is not voluntary, and how it leads to a national curriculum.
