In today’s edition of The Heartland Daily Podcast, America’s “undocumented anchorman” Mark Steyn joins Jim Lakely to talk about his new book, A Disgrace to the Profession. The Canadian-born writer and conservative political commentator — known on Hugh Hewitt’s show as the “Columnist to the World” — is an international bestselling author, a Top 41 recording artist, and a leading Canadian human rights activist.
Steyn is also a contributor to the book Climate Change: The Facts — co-authored by many presenters and attendees at the Tenth International Conference on Climate Change, as well as previous conferences. Steyn joins Lakely to talk about the fallacies of the popular and well-known hockey stick graph by fake Nobel Laureate Michael E. Mann.
Steyn and Lakely dissect the “hockey stick” and explain where Mann went wrong — as well as how there is “a conspiracy” of sorts between governments and the scientific literature magazines to prevent genuine peer-review that would reveal the truth about the climate. In short: The world’s scientists don’t know what they don’t know about the climate, but they pretend they have achieved absolute certainty, And, of course it follows that we must all act NOW to prevent a climate catastrophe that has no basis in observed data.
And in case you didn’t click on the link above, Steyn’s new book, A Disgrace to the Profession can be FOUND HERE.
BTW: Mark Steyn gave a rip-roaring keynote address at the 10th International Conference on Climate Change, which you can view HERE, or in the video player below. He KILLS in this presentation. Don’t miss it.
BTW2: That quote from Rumsfeld about “unknown unknowns” Lakely mentioned it the podcast was when Donald Rumsfeld was Secretary of Defense, not Secretary of State, in the Bush administration. He regrets the error.
