
S.T. Karnick
S.T. Karnick is a senior fellow at The Heartland Institute and executive editor of Heartland’s Health Care News — a monthly newspaper covering health care policy and published in partnership with the Goodman Institute. Karnick writes Heartland’s weekly “Life, Liberty & Property” newsletter, sent out to subscribers every Monday. Subscribe here. Previously, Karnick served as director of publications for the Hudson Institute, where he was co-founder and editor in chief of the organization’s quarterly magazine, American Outlook.
Karnick has written many hundred articles for publications, websites, and academic journals such as USA Today, The New York Post, National Review, The American Spectator, The Washington Examiner, The Daily Caller, The Weekly Standard, Breitbart, Books and Culture, Chronicles, American Thinker, Academic Questions, and many others, as well as for radio, television, and podcasts. A pioneer of modern right-of-center criticism of popular culture, Karnick served for twelve years as editor of The American Culture, which provided news and analysis about cultural, social, and political trends.
