Interstate wine shipments using a common carrier, from a winery to an adult consumer 21 years or older, are prohibited in the following 24 states and are a felony for wineries, retailers, and non-basic permit holders in states with an asterisk, according to Free the Grapes, a coalition of wineries and consumers who support direct-to-consumer sales.
